GEMINI II
1968
Proofed at Hayter's Atelier 17 from etched plates on JB Green paper.
Description:
the print consists of two plates etched into the shape. Textures of nylon will put on by means of the soft ground
several times to ensure that the final effect of the texture was of a soft black. The circular forms were deep bitten
and scraped leaving the rough texture. The proofs were inked as follows:
integrally oh blue, and read mixed with some black were rubbed onto the plate in the separate areas and carefully wiped.
A medium soft roller was inked the thin layer of orange ink roll the policy entire area of both plates.
